5.75" Multi Purpose Floral / Stem Cutter Description

Clauss 5 3/4" Serrated Blade Action Spring Latch Floral Stem Cutter Multi-purpose floral cutter. Stainless steel blades, red plastic grips (for underwater use as well), action spring, one blade serrated for EXTRA grip. Latch to keep tool closed when not in use. A good pocket-sized tool for cutting fresh, silk, and dried materials and for corsage work. All the power needed to cut thick silk stems. Cut multiple wire floral stems encased in plastic or solid wires up to 3/16" thick. Also cuts heavy wooden branches. Just insert silk flowers and rest your weight on the handle to cut.

I bought these to cut a huge order of flowers I had ordered online for my wedding. They cut every single flower cleanly and quickly, even the ones with really thick stems! No complaints about these, they work really well!

I bought two pairs of these cutters. One cutter worked quite well but the second set broke while cutting a stiff stem. I use the second pair more conservatively, smaller green stems and they are fine.

I work as a flower merchandiser in a grocery store. A pair of these were issued to me when I started and I used them constantly. I lost the spring from that pair so ordered two more. I use the cutter to trim thick flower stems, take dead material off plants and to open the cardboard boxes that the flowers come in. The fact that they fit easily into my front jeans pocket makes them great as they are quickly and easily accessible at all times. I love them and was totally lost when my first pair broke. I can't really do my job completely without them.

I have been looking all over for well over a year for a straight scissor-like pruning tool with no luck. The only ones I found were sold with 1 or more additional pruners, which I did not want or need.I have an outdoor G Guage railroad that requires a fair amount of precise pruning. This is the perfevt tool to replace one that I had which broke when I tried to prune something too big.
