I own a knot tying business and was looking for a professional level pair of scissors to replace the clippers I was using for cutting 1/2" poly-cotton rope. These scissors cut cleanly though the rope. These scissors quickly replaced the other scissors with a plastic frame and have already paid for themselves because they are solid. I have broken many pairs of scissors in my work and can't imagine these failing at all.

great for cut and restored rope (magicians) even the sharpest scissors didn't cut as easy as this.

I have a pomeranian that has a very thick undercoat. No scissors in the house would cut through to trim when needed. These new scissors did the job easily. Now I can get rid of mat-balls between her trips to groomer.
