I USE THESE SHEARS FOR EVERTHING, FROM CUTTING CHICKEN APART TO CUTTING OPEN BAGS. AND, IT IS DISHWASHER SAFE.

Work very well. Are easy to clean. I mainly use for cutting salad greens & wheatgrass that I grow in the kitchen. Do separate a little too easily which is fine for cleaning but can be surprising during use.
